Digital Literacy Workshop: Banking and Shopping Online / In-Person Technology Support

In this in-person workshop, participants will learn how to bank and shop safely online, uncover new techniques for protecting themselves when performing any digital financial tasks, and gain specific insights on how to place an online grocery order securely. This workshop begins with a presentation, followed by one-on-one customized support. Participants are encouraged to bring their devices and learning goals to receive technology training and support from mentors. Connected Canadians mentors will provide personalized assistance to help them apply what they’ve learned and build confidence in using their devices.

This Connected Canadians workshop is held in partnership with NORC Innovation Centre at University Health Network (UHN) for their community members.
